project brief

Transtar Cross Border—operated by Transtar Travel—recently expanded its fleet with new Scania coaches for routes such as TS3 and TS6 between Singapore and Johor Bahru.

To launch the service, the company needed full‑body wraps that showcased its cross‑border livery, projected a professional image to commuters, and endured long‑distance travel.

technology Used
  • Orajet 3164 vinyl film with long‑term adhesive

  • High‑definition digital printing and protective lamination

  • Vehicle-specific templates for large coach surfaces

  • Professional application tools including heat guns and squeegees

challenges we’ve faced

  • 1

Designing a cohesive wrap across large bus exteriors while complying with safety and visibility regulations

  • 2

Aligning graphics seamlessly around curved panels, windows and doors

  • 3

Ensuring the wraps withstand heavy mileage and varying weather conditions across borders

  • 4

Scheduling installation without disrupting scheduled services on routes like TS3 and TS6.

clear approach

Our team photographed and measured each coach to create precise templates. After finalising the design—incorporating the Transtar Cross Border branding—we printed the graphics on premium vinyl, laminated them for durability, and applied them in a climate‑controlled workshop to ensure a smooth, bubble‑free finish.

project outcome

The wrapped coaches now display a bold, unified livery that promotes the cross‑border services on all sides. The durable materials protect the original paintwork and maintain colour vibrancy despite heavy cross‑border use.
